The event titled "Istinyeli-Author Meeting" organized by Istinye University Library within the scope of 54th Library Week took place on March 28, Wednesday at Istinye University Topkapı Campus with the participation of Istinye University Faculty of Arts and Sciences faculty member, writer and poet Ali URAL.
Istinye University plans to traditionalize the event; poetry and music concerts, as well as library friends awards. Muhammed Emin Genceli, a student of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Istinye University was among the winners. Ali URAL pointed out that a rapidly growing number of books and libraries in Turkey stressed that despite the low literacy rate of ripening conditions. "The virtual world becomes a waste of information.
