What kind of faculty are we?

First of all, we are aware that when we come together with you, a whole will be completed.

We aim to understand people and society and to put them at the service of people and society. With the departments of Philosophy, English Language and Literature, English Translation and Interpreting, Psychology, Sociology and Turkish Language and Literature, we want to achieve our goal with the synergy we have created with you.

We want our students to be equipped with the same qualifications, with our academic staff who are qualified, who can constantly question and update their academic field-specific knowledge, who are researchers, entrepreneurs and who have high social skills.

Why are we unique?

Above all, we see each of our students as a valuable and different individual, and we prepare academic and social environments for them to realize themselves. We offer enriched individual learning environments to our students with our most modernly equipped classrooms, laboratories and online education infrastructure.

With our rich and original program content, we aim for our students to realize themselves in a versatile way. In addition to the main courses, we offer an environment that cares about the individual wealth of each of our students, with elective courses and extracurricular activities.

In addition, while the programs of our departments are being created, we aim to enable our students to work in different fields after graduation, and we design the contents of the programs by predicting that they will start life more advantageously and ahead of time. We create original program contents that are shaped around the needs of our stakeholders as well as our students.

Moreover, we develop our programs by integrating artificial intelligence according to the positions we want to see our graduates in the future, not today.

Since we accept each of our students as a global citizen, we see it as a basic requirement for them to have strong interaction with the world by enabling them to receive education in other foreign languages of their choice, especially English.

We aim for our students to gain experience not only at home but also abroad, and to become individuals who can look at life from different perspectives. In this context, all our programs are in harmony with the Bologna process and have international accreditation. In addition, we continue to expand our cooperation with EU countries and student and academic staff mobility within the scope of Erasmus+.

What kind of environment do we have?

We see our students as part of the same team and evaluate our success with the level we have reached in rowing in the same boat with them in the same direction.

And above all, our departments have a warm, supportive academic environment. We provide our students with the opportunity to communicate continuously and unhindered with our visionary faculty members, each of whom is competent in their fields.

Faculty mission

No matter how science and technology are developed, these developments will be incomplete unless the studies on people and society that produce them and decide how to use them are not developed in the same way. For this reason, understanding people and society is one of the priorities of today's and future worlds. As the theoretical and experimental knowledge that deals with human and society in all its aspects evolves, these vast concepts will become more enlightened and small sparks will ignite large torches. With this understanding, we aim to understand people and society and to put them at the service of people and society. We are developing our Philosophy, English Language and Literature, English Translation and Interpreting, Psychology, Sociology, and Turkish Language and Literature Departments programs by integrating artificial intelligence according to the positions we want to see our graduates in the future, not today. We aim to make our students individuals who can constantly question and update their academic field-specific knowledge, who are researchers, entrepreneurs, and individuals with advanced social skills. With an enriched program, we provide an understanding and environment that will continuously support student development, not only academically, but also multi-dimensionally, making our students as individuals who have adopted basic universal values, developed an attitude without prejudice, respectful, open to communication and learning, guided by science, and taking social responsibility.
