Istinye University Department of Turkish Language and Literature lecturers Dr. Feyzi Cimen and Dr. Mehmet Ali Gündoğdu participated in INCSOS 5th International Social Sciences Symposium with one paper each. INCSOS 5th International Symposium of Social Sciences, International Balkan University in Skopje, the capital of Northern Macedonia at Marmara University in Turkey, Trakya University, Namik Kemal University and was organized with the support of Turkish Studies Journal. In the symposium, 402 academicians from 93 universities from Germany, USA, Russia, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, and Turkey has presented papers. The opening ceremony was held with especially the honorary chairman and patron of the symposium Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop 900 people who deputies, mayors, and presidential advisers. In recent years, TIKA and Yunus Emre Institute have supported the congress which is one of the biggest scientific activities in Macedonia.
