Res. Asst. F. Berna Uysal from the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences presented the paper titled "Executioner as Abject in the Ottoman Empire", which was supported by TÜBİTAK-2224-A and granted the Graduate Student Award by the conference organizers at the 54th Annual NeMLA National Convention organized by the University at Buffalo, Niagara Falls, New York, on 23-26 March 2023, with Esra Karadağ.
