Prof. Dr. Yasemin Işıktaç who is a faculty member in the Field of Legal Philosophy and Sociology at the Department of Public Law in Faculty of Law at Istanbul University, was the eighteenth guest of the Round Table Discussions.
A conversation was held with Yasemin Işıktaç on Legal Education and Philosophy. In the conversation, law was defined as "social life order oriented towards justice"; the concepts of order, practical utility and justice as functions arising from the definition in question were discussed. Ultimately, the distinction between knowing the rules in law and being a lawyer has been questioned by taking into account the developments in the field of artificial intelligence technologies.
