Seda Kurt graduated as the first in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Istanbul University Faculty of Letters in 2013. She received her MA in 2016 at Turkish Language and Literature from the Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences with her thesis “Destâvîz-i Dâniş (Commentary of Persian Diwan by Sultan Selîm I) textual criticism and analysis ( p. 180 - 366 )”. In the same year, she started her Ph.D at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Yildiz Technical University Institute of Social Sciences. Her Ph.D education was supported by TÜBİTAK. Seda Kurt, who received her doctorate in 2021 with her thesis titled “Maqamat al-Hariri in Turkish literature and the commentary of maqamat written by Bitolian Danish Ahmed”, prepared her thesis with the supervision of Dr. Ali Emre Özyıldırım. She has worked as a research assistant in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Istinye University Faculty of Human and Social Sciences since 2017.
