He completed the Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Engineering at Middle East Technical University, and the Undergraduate Minor Program in Philosophy and History of Science in the Philosophy Department of the same university. He received his master's degree and his doctorate from the departments of Philosophy of Galatasaray University and of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. His main areas of research are ethics, political philosophy and philosophy of science. He has various articles and translations in his field.
